ABOUT US

FAB Oriental Steel Pvt. Ltd. Is a new venture from the group of Oriental Steel LLC, located in Sultanate of Oman, with the strength of 20 years’ experience in the Steel Building Industry. A group of professionals well versed in the industry with proven track record are the backbone of the company. It maintains a strong reputation for providing cost-effective solutions for steel buildings and structures manufactured to the highest quality standards and is committed to provide top class service to its customers.
Innovation has been the buzzword that leads the group which can be seen in every venture that they have taken up. Far back in 1985, the group had its humble beginning in Quilon India with an innovative product by name, Hotpoint, a Kerosene stove. This initiative had taken the southern part of India like a hurricane sweeping the market with a staggering figure of a million stoves sold in a decade. Designed by our engineers, Micro Hotpoint Stove had 5 factories employing 400 people producing almost 120,000 stoves a year. The stake holders of the company continue the saga of innovation and implementation with Oriental. The legacy continues with Oriental Steel.

Facility

FAB Oriental Steel Pvt. Ltd. is located in KSIDC Investments Zone, Kanjikode, Palakkad, one of the largest Industrial areas in Kerala. The shop floor has built in a vast area for fabrication with all equipment. The plant facility is supported by qualified team of technocrats.

Design Codes

Oriental's design and fabrication would strictly conform to the latest editions of following codes otherwise as per the directions of the client or specifically mentioned in the offer. Frame members (hot rolled or built-up) design conforming to the Indian Standards (BIS) for Steel Structure Design. IS 875 (Part 3) for Wind Loads, IS 800 for Steel Design, IS 801 for Use of Cold Formed Light Gauge Steel Structural Members in General Building Construction.
Oriental's Steel Structural design, deflection control and manufacturing dimensional tolerances comply with guidelines of Metal Buildings Systems Manual (MBSM) published by Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) of the USA is the world recognized authority on Pre- engineered steel buildings and its guidelines are widely accepted as standard practice in this industry.
